Responsibilities

  • Given high-level business and technical requirements, discuss all the related details with development and trading teams, perform the whole range of test design and planning activities;
  • Design architecture of environments for integration and performance testing in coordination with DevOps team;
  • Implement automated integration, performance tests and testing tools using Python and Rust;
  • Keep track of testing documentation and artifacts.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in software quality assurance, preferably of high-performance/low-latency systems;
  • Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies, approaches and tools;
  • Understanding of computer systems and software architecture – x86 architecture, Linux operating system, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, WebSocket), data structures and algorithms;
  • Extensive experience with Python, basic knowledge of Rust;
  • Hands-on experience with common SQL and no-SQL databases (ScyllaDB, ClickHouse);
  • Experience with Docker, Bash;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, exceptional dedication to details;
  • Strong communication skills (intermediate English);
  • Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent professional experience.
